Vanya Krasteva

Born in 1980 in Gorna Oryahovitsa. In 2004 she graduated from the St. Cyril and Methodius University of Fine Arts, majoring in Painting, with a Bachelor’s degree. In 2006 she graduated from the National Academy of Arts, majoring in Painting, in the studio of Academician Svetlin Rusev under the guidance of Prof. Ivaylo Mirchev and Prof. Desislava Mincheva. EXHIBITIONS: 1997 – general exhibition at the “Sirakov” Gallery, Veliko Tarnovo 1998-1999 – general exhibition at the “Specter” Gallery, Gorna Oryahovitsa 2001-2003 – general exhibitions in Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi 2005 – plein air “The World is the Sea”, Pomorie general exhibitions at the “Alterego” Gallery and the “Astri” Gallery in Sofia 2006 – plein airs in Lovech and Pomorie National Competition for Young Artists and Critics of the Ministry of Fine Arts “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, “Shipka 6″ Gallery, Sofia 2007 – plein airs in Razlog, Lovech, Ahtopol solo exhibition at the “Alterego” Gallery, Sofia 2009 – One-wall exhibition at the “Noah” Gallery, Sofia AWARDS: 2004 – certificate for excellent performance in the educational process at the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, Veliko Tarnovo 2005 – First prize in the National Competition for Young Artists and Critics of the MF “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, Sofia 2006 – award from the National Academy of Arts – specialization at Cite International des Arts in Paris, France Her works are owned by private collections in the country and abroad: USA, Czech Republic, England, Turkey, etc.
