Elena Olimpiev
Born in 1980 in Sofia. She graduated from the NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS “ILIA PETROV” in 1998 and the National Academy of Arts, majoring in “Graphics” in the studio of Prof. Hristo Staykov in 2004. She has participated in many general graphic exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. Along the way of her work, Elena Olimpiev always strives to provoke both herself and the viewer’s interest, helping them to boldly look beyond the initially perceived image and to look within themselves, discovering their essence, projected on the imagination. The goal is for the hidden to become apparent, and for the obvious to have a secondary and unobtrusive meaning. The direction in her works helps to reveal secrets, to change focus, to find a way.

Ivan Batchvarov /1942-2023/
Ivan Bachvarov graduated from the Academy of Arts – Sofia in 1981 under Prof. Eftim Tomov, majoring in graphics. He has been a freelance artist all his life. He has works purchased by the National Art Gallery – Sofia, as well as works purchased abroad. He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. Awards: Diploma of Excellence Artist Stockholm, Sweden ’97; Diploma Venice, Italy ’98; Diploma #2 Venice, Italy ’99.
Ivan Ninov
Born on 19th August 1946. In 1969 graduated from the Art School in Sofia. Since 1970 he has been participating in almost all International biennials and triennials of graphic art and representative exhibitions of Bulgarian graphic abroad. Ivan Ninov lives and works in Sofia.
Ishkhan Nigohosyan – Shani
Born on May 8, 1950 in Sofia. He is the author of five solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous joint exhibitions. He won awards from his performances in Canada, Turkey and Bulgaria. In July 2004, at the exhibition “Painting-Satire”, organized by the Union of Bulgarian Artists, Ishkhan Nigohosyan won First Prize with his kinetic work “The Crazy Picture”. Ishkhan Nigohosyan presents several solo exhibitions at the “Noah” gallery. The author’s works are owned by collections in Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, the USA and other countries. He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
Georgi Chapkanov – Chap
He was born in 1943 in the town of Valchi Dol, Varna region. In Sofia he graduated from the Art High School and the National Academy of Arts, majoring in Sculpture, and then specialized in Paris. At the National Academy of Arts, Professor Chapkanov headed the Department of Artistic Metal Processing.
His works are exhibited in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, the National Art Gallery, the Sofia City Art Gallery, the building of the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, etc.
He is a co-author of the coat of arms of the Republic of Bulgaria, author of the “Statue of Sofia” in the capital, of many coins and medals. He has painted portraits of some of the most famous personalities in Bulgaria. In addition to the Union of Bulgarian Artists, he has received awards from the Hakone Museum in Japan, the Grand Prix in Paris, the “Sulmona” of the President of Italy, etc.
The jewelry wizard of contemporary Bulgarian sculpture is also a consummate painter, highly valued in our country and around the world.
