“…from this delicate personality such bright atmospheres erupt that constantly surprise us with the diversity and richness of the creative vision, with their monumental, modern sound and their ability to instill a sense of rebellion, joy and optimism.” – Velina Dimitrova on Gencho Denchev’s exhibition at the Tea Gallery, 2006. “Gencho Denchev is a contemporary author not so much in terms of his external artistic features, but in terms of his essence, content, spirit, interpretation of events, and his relationship to the plot… …His assessment has been suffered and carried creatively and humanly, so that we can believe in his path as an artist – in the one he has gone through and the one that lies ahead of him.” – Svetlin Rusev, 13.01.1987, Sofia
